AppSumo Taco Day 2026: 10% Off Sitewide + 5 Flash Sales (Ends Oct 7)

AppSumo Taco Day 2026: 10% Off Sitewide + 5 Flash Sales (Ends Oct 7)

Disclosure: SAASTOOLY earns a commission when you buy through some of the links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Sale terms and all five deals were checked on AppSumo on October 6, 2026. The event is counting down, so confirm prices on each deal page before you buy.

AppSumo's Taco Day sale is live today, October 6, and ends on October 7 at 8am CT. It has two parts: 10% off sitewide, and five flash sales for 24 hours only. AppSumo Plus members get 19% off and an extra 24 hours, until October 8 at 8am CT.

That is less than a day for most buyers, which is exactly when people buy things they never open. So this page does two jobs: it lists the five flash sales with an honest view of each, and it gives you a two-minute filter to run before checkout.

How the Taco Day sale works

According to AppSumo's homepage banner and Taco Day collection page on October 6:

  • 10% off sitewide for everyone, until October 7 at 8am CT.
  • Five flash sales on selected tools, for 24 hours.
  • Plus members get 19% off and Extended Access, with 24 extra hours to shop until October 8 at 8am CT.

Two practical notes. First, check the discount at checkout on your exact order rather than assuming how the 10% combines with each flash-sale price. Second, AppSumo's terms for big sitewide events have said that coupons cannot be combined with sitewide promotions (apart from the standard Plus discount), so if you hold a quarterly Plus coupon, compare which saves more. If you are wondering why Plus members get 19% rather than 20%, our guide to getting 19% off AppSumo explains the arithmetic.

The five Taco Day flash sales

Entry-tier prices, ratings and review counts as shown on AppSumo on October 6, 2026. All five carry the AppSumo Select badge.

Deal What it does Entry price Rating Best for
Feedspace Collects and displays video and text testimonials $69 4.97★, 149 reviews Businesses that need social proof
VoiceDash AI voice dictation and bot-free meeting notes $59 4.4★, 238 reviews People who write a lot
Documentation.AI AI documentation, API docs and help centres $69 4.95★, 20 reviews Software teams and support
Branding5 AI brand positioning and marketing audits $99 4.92★, 36 reviews Founders, consultants, agencies
HeySummit Virtual summits, webinars and paid events $99 4.52★, 103 reviews Educators and event organisers

Feedspace — the strongest record in the sale

$69 (Tier 1: 1 workspace, 5 forms, 12GB storage), up to $699 for the top tier.

Feedspace collects video and text testimonials through custom forms, imports existing reviews from 80+ platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, LinkedIn and Product Hunt, and displays them with embeddable widgets and "Wall of Love" pages. It has the best combination of rating and volume in the sale: 4.97 stars from 149 reviews.

Buy it if you pay for a testimonial tool today, or you are about to start collecting reviews for a product or service. Skip it if you have no customers to ask yet. Watch: 12GB of storage fills faster with video than with text; agencies will want a higher tier for multiple workspaces.

VoiceDash — the most reviews in the sale

$59 (Tier 1), up to $749, scaling from 200,000 to 3 million words a month; meeting notes are on higher tiers.

VoiceDash turns speech into cleaned-up text in any desktop app, removing filler words and fixing grammar, and on higher tiers records and transcribes Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls without a bot joining. It runs on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, with a Linux beta. It has the most reviews in the sale: 238, at 4.4 stars.

Buy it if you already pay for dictation or a notetaker, or you write long emails and documents every day. Watch: some reviewers mention occasional stability issues, and the company is very young (founded in 2025). If you want the meeting-notes feature, check which tier includes it. For other options, see our Otter.ai alternatives guide. As with any bot-free recorder, telling participants they are being recorded is your responsibility.

Documentation.AI — generous for a team, thin on reviews

$69 (Tier 1: 5 seats, 5,000 AI credits a month, 2 projects), up to $549 for unlimited seats.

It builds documentation, API docs and help centres, syncs with Git so docs stay current, includes an interactive API playground, and adds an embedded AI assistant that answers with citations. Five seats on the entry tier is unusually generous for a team tool.

Buy it if you run a software product and pay for a docs or help-centre tool today. Watch: 4.95 stars from only 20 reviews is promising but a small sample, and the deal is for new users only, with activation required within 60 days.

Branding5 — useful once, so buy it once

$99 (entry tier: 5 brand reports), with higher tiers adding monthly reports, brand checks and white-labelling.

Branding5 uses brand archetypes to generate positioning reports, ideal customer profiles, campaign ideas and visual-identity guidance, and scores marketing assets in a "Brand Check". It has 4.92 stars from 36 reviews.

Buy it if you are launching or repositioning a brand, or you are a consultant who can use the reports with clients. Watch: this is not a bill you are replacing for most buyers, so it belongs in the "experiment" part of your budget. The company is small and early (founded in 2024), so read the Q&A before buying.

HeySummit — powerful, with a learning curve and a fee

$99 (1 code: 1,500 attendees, 3 active events, 3 team members); codes stack to unlimited at seven codes.

HeySummit runs virtual summits, webinars, courses and workshops with ticketing, donations, affiliate tracking, email automation, speaker dashboards, CRM integrations and streaming through Zoom, YouTube or Vimeo Live. It is the oldest company in the sale (founded in 2019).

Watch the transaction fee: paid tickets carry a 2% fee on the one- and two-code tiers, dropping to 1% at four codes. That is fine for free or low-revenue events and worth calculating if you sell a lot of tickets. Reviewers also describe setup as complex with a steep learning curve. Buy it if you run or plan paid online events and currently pay for an event platform.

The two-minute filter before checkout

With less than a day on the clock, run every deal through four questions:

  1. Does it replace a bill I pay today? If not, it is a maybe, and maybes are where sale money disappears.
  2. Does it pay back in under about six months? Price divided by the monthly bill it replaces.
  3. Can I get my data out? Check for export before buying.
  4. Can I set it up in the next two weeks? If not, you will burn the refund window untested.

If a deal fails one, let it go. Missing a 24-hour flash sale costs nothing if you did not need the tool. The longer version of this method is our Black Friday buying framework, which works for any countdown.

Should you join Plus for Taco Day?

Only if you are buying more than one thing. Plus members get 19% off instead of 10%, plus an extra day.

Example: buying Feedspace and Documentation.AI ($69 each, $138 total) saves about $13.80 at 10% and about $26.22 at 19%, a difference of about $12.42. That roughly covers one month of the Plus Monthly plan. Buying a single $59 or $69 deal does not clear the fee on discount alone. Our AppSumo Plus review compares the three plans.

After you buy

Redeem or activate the same day. Codes and licenses can expire if left unredeemed; see how AppSumo codes and licenses work.

Set a day-50 reminder. If you have not used the tool in real work by then, request a refund while the refund window is open. All five deals list a 60-day refund.
